They usually have tubing to connect the pump to the breast shield worn by the user. There are single and double electric breast pump available on the market, where the single breast pump only pumps one breast at a time and the double pump pumps both breasts at the same time. Many pumps allow for you to either use them as either a single pump or a double pump.
